Professor Sabri Cetin

Professor Sabri Cetin is an accomplished academic and global technology leader and entrepreneur, with five US patents, a foundational textbook in the field of mechatronics which is used by college students around the world, hundreds of technical publications. He is the founder of two highly successful start-up companies in the field of mechatronics, robotics and embedded software technologies. He is a hands-on leader in that he works regularly with his engineers and students in the bolts-and-nuts details of projects. He has been a mentor to hundreds of former students and younger colleagues around the globe. He holds BS in Aerospace Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, and MS and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. The first rule in his everyday conduct in life is to treat others as you would want them to treat you. He has been a fortunate recipient of many scholarships and awards since his early education years that made it possible to finance his education, and strongly believes and practices giving back.
